MerchShot values privacy. This policy explains how we handle information needed to provide AI Product Photography and operate the service.

Information We Handle

• Account information: your email address and identifiers needed to create and use an account.
• Sign-in information: session information used to keep accounts signed in and secure. The website uses necessary cookies for authentication.
• Generation and usage records: task status, file references, and usage information needed to provide results, maintain service limits, and support your account.
• Service operation information: information needed to keep the website reliable, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service.

How We Use Information

We use this information to create and maintain accounts, sign users in, process image generation, show results, provide support, enforce current service limits, and operate and secure the service.

Product Images

The Camera Photo Converter processes selected images locally in your browser; those files are not uploaded to MerchShot for conversion.

When you select Generate in AI Product Photography, your product image is sent to the MerchShot server and to our generation provider, APIMart, to fulfill your request. The original and generated images are stored in private object storage for access and download through your account. The database stores task and file references and other necessary metadata. APIMart may process and retain inputs and outputs according to its policies. Please do not upload images you lack the right to process or sensitive material. You can delete an individual generated image from the results view. To request deletion of your original image and task records, contact support@merchshot.ai.

Processing and Protection

Information may be processed by infrastructure, storage, generation, or authentication service providers as needed to operate the website and provide the requested service. We limit its use to those purposes and take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access.

Purchases and Payment Information

MerchShot free accounts currently start with zero credits and there is no live in-app payment checkout or collection of payment card details. If paid credit plans and hosted checkout become available, we will identify the payment provider and update this policy before accepting payment. Payment details will be handled by the payment provider under its own privacy terms; MerchShot will not store full payment card numbers.

Retention and Requests

Account, generation, and usage information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain its security, and meet legal obligations. For questions or requests about personal information, contact support@merchshot.ai.
